Local Offers
As it says on the Local Offer website (
www.thelocaloffer.co.uk), the Local Offer is intended to positively transform the landscape of SEN and disability, through a number of key components and principles, at the heart of which is the importance of
choice and
control for parents and carers and the inclusion of provision
from birth to 25 years of age, across education, health and social care. Every local authority will be required to establish and set out its own Local Offer, so young people, parents and carers can see more clearly the services available in their area and how to access them.
